Barron-Veazey house built in 1905

The Barron-Veazey house, built in 1905, is one of several homes in town with a state historical marker.

Fans of the old, the vintage and the unusual will find kindred spirits in Van Alstyne.

Van Alstyne has been designated as a historic city by the Grayson County Historical Society.

The area is home to many historic sites, and there are always opportunities available to live or work in a historic building.

Just east of Main Street in  downtown, two of the original Interurban railcars are on display and currently being restored.
